I am afraid nothing happened. One interesting thing is that the kinect files show up on my software in the control panel. They do not show in my program files at all. Supposedly these should show up in the device manager. You get a tone when the kinect is plugged into a usb 3 port. Nothing shows in explorer. I have tried kinect 1.6, 1.7 and 1.8. Microsoft stopped packing in the Kinect with the Xbox One a while back, and once that happened, the writing was on the wall. The Xbox One S is currently $399 with two terabytes of storage. It's suppose to be better than the Xbox 360 Kinect it has a higher resolution. I don't have Kinect for Xbox 360 I see no point in investing in it, But I have the Xbox 1 Day One edition console with Kinect.
